Well, we are off tomorrow on a trip to California. The suitcase is packed, the chores are done, and there is a sock in my purse awaiting takeoff. The WB is causing some panic in this knitter. There are nine blocks that make up this lovely and I had a sickening realization just the other day that I still have two blocks (ad the other half of the current block) to knit up.
This may not seem so bad but you see, the last two blocks are worked at the same time and over many stitches and there are 99 (count them, ninety nine) rows in each block. All garter stitch. There are literally only days left until this event and finishing the blanket on time is still a crazy thought.
There is exactly one finished Christmas knit finished. I will post when we return. Happy knitting!
