Stripes

Good morning Knitting Friends! When I got up today, it was difficult to wake up. Then, the memory of that delightful Suki shawl came to mind. After starting the kettle for tea, I picked up the wool and began the stripes.

The photo really doesn't do the colors justice. The green is so reminiscent of the plants coming out of their hibernation from the winter, and the purple is so like the lavender out on Sauvie's Island. Have a lovely day. I'm going to knit a while longer before going to work.

P.S.- My youngest brother is coming home tomorrow afternoon, and he doesn't know it yet, but I'm going to go surprise him at the train station :)
